The Passionate Pilgrim

Saturday, October 18th at 2:30 PM.

New York Public Library, Inwood Branch
4790 Broadway, Northern Manhattan

This is a collection of sonnets and poems penned by William Shakespeare and other contemporaries of his time. Just like last year's successful Sonnet Slam series, we're repeating and encouraging audience participation in reading these wonderful sonnets and poems as well.

If you'd like to participate, here's how. Just show up at The Inwood Library on October 18th at 2:30 pm. There are no auditions for this - it's a free, open event for everybody. When you arrive, look for the stack of sonnets and poems. Each will be printed on individual pages - and we'll recite them in order. Once you finish a sonnet or poem, feel free to take another off the stack to read for your next turn.

And if you prefer not to participate as a reader, you'll still enjoy attending - it'll be a fun event to sit back and hear all the wonderful poetry!

Admission is Free! And there's no cover charge,
but there is a two book checkout minimum...
