"God?" is a multimedia dramatic/comedic musical, written and directed by Kenneth Blake Golding. Almost disturbingly philisophical, the message of "God?" is salved by it's comedic overview. What is God and who is God is addressed in a fresh format with characters of different ethnicities and religions who wildly and sometimes amusingly sound off. Their surroundings is a section of London's Hyde Park, famed for it's Speakers' Corner where all types feel free to air their beliefs. "God?"s cast of twelve required significant acting experience and a committment to the project and its message: Can we as a human race find peace in our time? Of the twelve songs, also written by the play's author, provocative lyrics ask in "Judgement Day" (..."and where will you be, and who will you be praying to?... My God, or your God, which will see us through?"...) The song "Equality" asks us to consider that "until God is proclaimed a black woman we may never be free"... Interwoven in the two-act musical are some spontaneous street interviews filmed in New York and Los Angeles where questions were asked in relation to God. The dramatic responses are intercut with footage from "War and Peace". Call 212-533-0558 for tickets and reservations: Performances: Wed thru Sat at 8PM Tickets prices: $15.00 Wed and
