NASA's Dawn team was putting together a celebration called Vesta Fiesta right before the spacecraft Dawn would reach the orbit of the asteroid Vesta. And I wrote this song with the nationwide party in mind for this first-ever event. First, Tony and I debuted it live at the Piper's Kilt on Sunday night, July 24th. Then the song went bi-coastal for the official Vesta Fiesta weekend. On August 5th, Tony and I performed the song on the East Coast for NYSkies. On August 6th, my husband Jason and I took my song to the National Flagship event in Pasadena, California.
